Returning for another fun filled weekend for 2012... After a hugely successful event in May 2011 raising in excess of £50,000 for teams various charities, we can't wait to welcome you all back on our next little adventure!
For those of you new to the concept - think Top Gear challenge:- take a £250 motor, a group of friends, a sense of humour, some paint and a little imagination and you could create a banger masterpiece to compete in our event. Daily challenges, fancy dress, great company and beautiful roads all make for a fantastic long weekend.
For the June 2012 event, we will be heading from Calais over to Lyon via Dijon and Reims, heading out to a great bar to catch up on the days events. On day two (arguably the best of the trip) we will hit the Alps for sun, snow and scenery, all this on the same day as the glorious weather and sights of Monaco before a night out in Nice. On the last day we take in the French Riviera and cross the border for a huge finale in Barcelona with entertainment, a meal and prize giving. The basic cost of a ticket is £185, which covers entry for one car and two drivers. Additional drivers can be added to the team for £20 per extra team member. Your entry includes all of the following:
- Medals for all of your team
- Information packs detailing all of the event
- A sticker pack for your vehicle, with team numbers and various other decals
- A goodie bag on the start line, including some treats and some things to help you with the challenges
- A custom trophy for the overall winner
- Access to the venues at the start and end of the event
- Meals for all team members at the final venue
- Closing party in Barcelona with entertainment provided
- Access to our secure forum to discuss anything and everything including direct consultation with our preferred insurance brokers, HIC
- Opportunities to gather with other past and present banger rallies at meets organised throughout the year
