Barcelona Bangers is a Rally with a difference, imagine driving from Calais, down through Western France, through Bordaux and fashionable Biarritz, over the border onto the beautiful northern coast of Spain, then across the lower Pyrenees (Guara Mountains) to Barcelona on the Costa Brava, sounds fun! then come and do it in a car worth less than £200..

The Route 2008

Day 1 - Friday 18th July 2008 - Calais to Lyon
We will all meet in Calais at 9am where all the teams can laugh (sorry, admire) each others bangers!

Route:
The first days route will take us down through central France, this is the longest days drive and will put us in reach of the Alps..

Approximate distance - 400 miles

Challenge - TBA

Day 2 - Saturday 19th July 2008 - Lyon to Nice
Route:
The second day will take us from Lyon, directly over the French Alps and on to Nice on the French Riviera for our second nights stay.

Approximate distance - 265 miles

Day 3 - Sunday 20th July 2008 - Nice to Barcelona
Route:
The final day will take us from Nice, along the French Riviera and into Spain for our drive to Barcelona.

Approximate distance - 400 miles

Day 3 - Presentation evening in Barcelona on Sunday 20th July 2008
This evening we will all gather for a final presentation.
